A BRIEF ABOUT OUR ASSOCIATION

"ANDHRA PRADESH INCOME TAX PENSIONERS ASSOCIATION" was registered in the year 1984 with Regn.no. 1855/1984 and subsequently its name changed to "ANDHRA PRADESH AND TELANGANA INCOME TAX PENSIONERS ASSOCIATION". The Association consists of members who retired in any cadre from any of the offices of Income Tax Department located in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana States. The aim and purpose of the Association is to bring in contact with each other and share their experience and problems as Pensioners. The Central Office of the Association is located in Hyderabad and its Units are located at different places of the States.

The number of members who have registered themselves as members are as under.

Hyderabad - 240
Visakhapatnam - 89
Vijayawada - 40
Anantapur - 26

Still there are many Pensioners who have not registered themselves as members. Efforts are being made to contact them and register them as Members of the Association.

At present, general body meetings are convened quarterly in Hyderabad. In every meeting, the latest developments and issues relating to pension payments, CGHS matters etc.,are discussed and the Association is striving for redressal of those problems. Guest Lectures by specialist doctors or any other eminent persons are being arranged on the day of the meeting. Some of the members of the Association will be exhibiting their cultural talents after the meeting. Special meetings are arranged to celebrate new year eve. Occasionally the leaders of All India Pensioners Federation are being invited to address our Members. The meetings are followed by lunch. Further, News letters are being issued to update the Members on issues relating to Pensioners and the action being taken by our Association as well as by the All India Pensioners Federation. The other activities of the Association are also being informed through News Letters.

This web portal has been started with an intention to keep all the Members informed of up-to-date news of the matters relating to Pensioners and also the activities of ANDHRA PRADESH AND TELANGANA INCOMETAX PENSIONERS ASSOCIATION and its Units.
